David BEATSON Obituary

BEATSON, David Colin. Died peacefully Thursday September 21, 2017 at his home in Auckland. Adored husband of Lesley Miller, dearly loved son of the late Colin and Nancy Beatson, and brother of John, Garth and Jenny and much loved father of Amanda and Timothy and father in law of Reece and Charlotte. Loved and esteemed stepfather of Jamie, Greg and Sela and Mark and Sarah. Cherished Grandfather of Terry, Levi,Toby, Lucy, Phoebe, James, Maurice, Oliver, Thomas, Charlie and Kate. Funeral will be at St Patricks Cathedral 43 Wyndham Street Auckland at 2.30pm on Wednesday 27 September. All correspondence to PO Box 47718 Ponsonby Auckland 1144 No flowers please. So very sorry to hear of David's death. Dunedin bred a lot of good people that would go on to do incredible things in broadcasting. David was a fine journalist, broadcaster and gentleman.
