We are very sorry to hear about Dave's passing and pass on our sincere condolences to his Mother, Jean. We know that he battled ill health for many years, which he fought with determination and self discipline. Although we did not have recent contact with Dave, we will have happy memories of him driving his Monaro around the Sunshine Coast and especially being there at our wedding. We pray that Dave will be able to rest in peace.

Dear Dave,
It was so good to know you & spend time with you. You did so well with looking after yourself.
I am so glad we met up again and so thankful that Roy Robinson was with you to share memories and support you so much in your last days.
I still have a few things of yours that you gave me when you left for Australia. I will treasure them even more along with precious memories of our times together.
Bless you dear man.
Love you, Barbara Furley

A sad farewell to my old mate "The Bat" - one of life's great characters and lover of having things done properly as he always did himself. Gone far too soon but leaving an abundance of wonderful, amusing memories. Rest easy my friend.
