Darryn MELROSE Obituary

Melrose, Darryn John. Darryn, aged 59, passed away peacefully at home on Christmas Day 2025, after a brief and courageous battle with cancer. Beloved husband of Valerie von Geldern, cherished father of Amber, Cara, Gabriel, and Xavier. Much-loved brother of Wayne and the late Bob, adored son of the late Tony and Liz, treasured by Jean and Murray. Most loyal companion to Rafa. Darryn's unwavering positivity, grace, sparkling humour, and deepest care for everyone he met will forever inspire us. A memorial service will be held at Akarana Yacht Club, 8 Tamaki Drive, Auckland on Friday 16 January, 2pm. In lieu of flowers donations to www.nzspinaltrust.org.nz are appreciated.
