I have just read Darells notice, I am shocked to hear of his passing. Darrell was the sweetest kindest caring man I ever met and he had a great sense of humor. Rest easy grumpy...

Goodbye to a good friend (and boss!), my deepest sympathy to your family, Darrell you will always be the brightest star in the sky, gone too soon but never forgotten, RIP

Paddy, Erin & Tom - it was a beautiful send off for Darrell - he was a great guy, a true leader in his field, had a great sense of humour & was highly regarded throughout his various work roles during his lifetime. It was far too early to farewell someone like Darrell but he can rest easy knowing that he has left behind a loving, strong & beautiful family that is obviously well supported by the community in which you live. He had a wide circle of friends & colleagues in his 'secretive' lifetime....he will live on in memory - deepest condolences and thoughts remain with you for the future.

Goodbye my friend, camping buddy and sports specialist for our quiz nights. It's had to believe you are no longer with us, but your spirit will remain always. Until we meet agin.

I have just this minute read a notification regarding Darrell's passing. I am shocked and saddened at such news and offer my sincere sympathy to all of the family. I did a couple of small jobs with Darrell and he was always so helpful and the ultimate gentleman. A very highly skilled investigator. RIP Darrell.
