CAREY, Darrell Le Marchant. QSM. E.D (MID) Rgtl No. 1450 Major 19 Armoured Regiment WWII Egypt, Italy. Passed away peacefully on 26 July 2011 late in his 94th year at Aparangi Care Centre, Te Kauwhata. Youngest son of the late Richard and Elizabeth, youngest brother of the late Ida, Thomas and Dora Watt. Beloved husband of the late Jeanie. Father of Jonathan, Penny, Gillian (deceased) and Anne, grandfather of Deborah, Michelle, Cameron, Rachel, Tim and Mark. Great grandfather of Dylan, Kieran, Felicity, Scott, Hunter, Declan and Jacob. Funeral service to be held at the St Pauls Anglican Church, 55 William St, Huntly on Friday 29 July at 1.00pm to be followed by a private cremation. No flowers by request - donations to the Christchurch Earthquake Appeal can be sent the Anglican Bishops Fund, PO Box 21, Hamilton or can be left at the service.
