Daphne OWEN Obituary
OWEN, Daphne Lily. Passed away peacefully on the 19th of July 2017 in Golden Ponds Care, Whakatane. Loved wife of the late Bob (Kawerau). Dearly loved mum of Robyn and Alan Reeve (Cambridge), Peter (deceased) and Karen Owen (Taupo), Russell and Tegel Owen (Kawerau), Carol and Tony Penberth (Whakatane), Helen and Stu Brown (Papamoa) and Paul and Robyn Owen (Taupo). Loved grandmother and great grandmother to all her grandchildren. Daphne will be at home (158 Valley Road, Kawerau) for 2 days followed by a celebration of her amazing life at 1:00pm on Monday the 24th of July 2017 at 158 Valley Road, Kawerau, followed by a private cremation. Daphne's family would like to express their thanks to the staff in the Medical Ward, Whakatane Hospital, Golden Pond Care, and the St John's Team. As per Daphne's wishes please wear something pink. In lieu of flowers donations to Hospice would be greatly appreciated .There will be a donations box available at the service.

R.i.p daph you were one of a kind have been sad to here you passed just after i stoped working at golden pond wish i was there when u came in. i miss bob every day and often think of use growing up use were like my other grand parents i cant belive i never new of your passing until last year i came across this so randomly so you must have been saying hi. Hope heaven is treating you well r.i.p too you and bobby xx
