We first met Daphne Langlois through the East India Genealogy Branch of the NZ Genealogy Society. It was a natural fit, she was raised in India and we had Indian relatives. For many years we corresponded, she as a generous contributor to our nationwide group and me as our journal Sub Editor/sometimes editor of our monthly journal "Chowkidar´ (gatekeeper.)
She was generous over many years and very helpful to many of our members . Even in her last moths she was our major go-to source of life in India. She is sadly missed.

It´s many years since I saw you with the family at our house in London. It was lovely to meet our family from NZ. Thank you for your part in entertaining the local elderly folk with your music. I enjoyed reading the cards & your emails keeping us up-to-date. It´s time for you to rest now Daphne. God bless. Love Cousin Georgina xx

Sending our love and condolences to Daphne. This was the last photo we took of Daphne. We did a cruise around NZ in 2019, and met Daphne in Tauranga. We had a lovely day, we always talk about that day Lots of great memories. Daphne will be very sadly missed. Lots of Love Ernie & Chris xx
