Daniel PENGELLY Obituary

PENGELLY, Daniel Arthur (Danny Boy). 4 October 1940 to 17 January 2016. Ex Pakuranga & Helensville. Peacefully at Cranford Hospice with Jean, his wife of 54 years and sweetheart of 62 years, by his side. Dearly loved and devoted father and father-in-law of David and Campbell, John and Diane, Christine and Paul. Adored Poppa of Liam, Sam, Emily, Anna and James. A man of many talents and skills who will live in our hearts forever. Dan's funeral service will be held at 2 pm on Friday 22/1/16 at "The Function Centre", 30 Te Mata Road, Havelock North. In lieu of flowers, donations to Cranford Hospice can be made at the funeral.

Well, Allan Stebben I remember those days with Danny Boy playing representative basketball for Kaipara
He was a great sportsman and an inspiration to us all

I had some of my best teenage years in Basketball with you Danny. You were an inspiration and true sportsman at the Kaipara Basketball association (Helensville). I am sure your legacy will continue with Jean, your Children and Grand Children.
