Daniel Bass Obituary

BASS, Daniel Peter (Danny). Formerly of Avoca, Co. Wicklow, Ireland. Passed away peacefully on Tuesday, 16 August, 2011, at Middlemore Hospital after a long illness. Dearly loved husband of Anne, father and father-in-law of Eileen and Mike, Stephen and Bernie, Connor and Sabrina, and Catherine, uncle of Ronan and granddad of Sinead, Ciaran, Ronan, Aine and Roisin. Our grateful thanks to all the haematology staff at Middlemore Hospital. Requiem Mass for Danny will be celebrated at St. Joseph's Parish Church, Church Street, Otahuhu on Friday 19 August at 11.00am. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to South Auckland St. Vincent de Paul, c/o 44 Hutton Street, Otahuhu. Communications to the Bass Family, c/- PO Box 56-013, Auckland 1446.

Danny, we still talk fondly about the many happy times we had with you and your family while in Auckland. Your kindness and generosity made our time so enjoyable. We always knew dinner on Thursday night would be filled with laughter.
