Jeannie and Peter.
I have only just found out about the devastating loss of your son Daniel. I didn´t know him but knowing you through bookclub, Jeannie and Peter, I know he would have been a lovely man with the best upbringing. Being in such a beautiful place at the end of his life, doing what he loved is some consolation. Know that you are in my (and Dale´s thoughts). xx

My experience of Dan (& Anna) were that they were the most generous, loving, giving, kind humans on this planet. I´ve only known Dan with Anna, and haven´t seen Dan since he moved back to New Zealand. The support they showed us, and in particular my husband (Dan´s cousin) after his accident 17 years ago, was above and beyond, and completely unexpected. Will think of Dan fondly and with gratitude, all my days.
It´s hard to believe he´s gone.
All our love to his family, friends, fiancée (sorry not to have met you, Lou, you spoke so beautifully of your love at his funeral today), and all those who loved him.
Being part of a livestream funeral is hard, but so wonderful ... would´ve loved to have been there.

Dan was an incredible man. Inspirational. I´ve never known a harder working and more resilient man. I met Dan at the start of my NZ journey a little over a year ago. Dan gave me a life-changing opportunity to work with him and learn his business. He was someone who was not afraid to get involved and give his all to everything he did. I learned more from him about attitude and demeanour in a matter of months than I did from any other career or job. From the people I met through Dan, I can tell that He provided so much for so many, and will be sorely missed. My condolences,
Tyler Woods.
