We never met but we shared a lot of very interesting information about our relatives and ancestors. It was very interesting hearing about my grandmothers sisters moving to NZ and about your family. Unfortunately I never got the chance to show you where your ancestors came from here in DK.
We also shared the same love for cats and that was actually how you found me.
Hope you are in a better place and without pain.

You will be remembered Dallas for your warmth and authenticity and for being a very special lady. She was a dear colleague, fearless in expressing what she felt and meant. A bright spark in my life that always made me smile or laugh.

I remember this lady at the office who would only write in pink color. Definitely Dallas was different and dated to be herself, with her personal tastes and believes. She was a genuine, generous and talented person. More than this, she was my friend. You will be missed Dallas and somehow there will always be a light of you on Paris. I hope you are well and in no pain now, knitting, doing embroidery with a purring cat by your side. I´ll miss you mon amie Dallas. Je t´embrasse

Dallas was my cousin. I, along with a friend, stayed with her in Paris one time and met up with her on other occasions. We shared so many stories and laughs about all the happenings in Paris and had some beautiful meals together. I will miss chatting with her on Facebook and will miss seeing her exquisite needlework. RIP Dallas.

Although I never met Dallas (Ally to me) in person, I considered her a good friend through an online crafting site, Ravelry. Ally was almost always cheerful, supportive and helpful no matter what else was going on in her life. Her craftwork was exquisite and I enjoyed hearing of her experiences, either current or past. The world will be a sadder place without her, and I´m going to miss her greatly.
