Dale PETERSEN Obituary

PETERSEN, Dale Stuart. Passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on May 23rd, 2014 in his 80th year. Dearly loved husband of Lee; father of Gary, Kaaren, Scott, LeAnn and Sonja; poppa of Ingrid, Chris, Jakeb, Sammy, Maurice, Denva and Corbyn; great poppa of Lauren, Kiernan, Madeleine and Maya; great great poppa of Connor. A celebration of Dales life will be held at the Doubtless Bay Christian Centre, Mangonui on Wednesday May 28th at 11am followed by a "last hoorah" at the Coopers Beach Bowling Club.

Deepest sympathy to the family. My memories of Dale stretch back to the early days of the Bay of Islands Jazz Festival at Waitangi and to subsequent great times blowing saxophone together. Sadly missed.
