Harvey, Dale Gilman. It is with great sadness that the Harvey Family announce the passing of Dale Gilman Harvey. Dale passed away Monday morning 22nd of December 2025 at the Quarter Acre Paradise Gardens in Mangere, Auckland - The Harvey Family Home. He is survived by his sisters Glen Harvey (Wolf Gurr) of California, Lee Anne Harvey (Charles Jones) of Wisconsin and his brother Heath Harvey (Leighann) of Georgia Born in Gloucester, Massachusetts and raised in Owensboro, Kentucky Dale showed an early talent in gardening as a teenager and went on to grow his passion into an international career spanning the United States, Japan, Australia - where he met his beloved partner, John Newton in New Zealand. FUNERAL SERVICE DETAILS Location: Mangere Lawn Cemetery & Crematorium - 85 McKenzie Road, Mangere Bridge, Auckland. Date: Saturday 17th January 2026, at 11:00AM NZST The service will be a memorial to celebrate the life of both Dale and his lifetime partner John.
