SCOTT, Craig Freeman. After a long illness Craig passed away peacefully in his sleep on 1 January 2026, aged 79. Much loved husband of Lesley, father and father-in-law of Nadine, Matthew and Rebecca (Texas), and Dave. The best Pop of Gabrielle, Therese, Joseph, Gemma, Anthony, Claudia and Monica (Texas). Requiem Mass will be celebrated at St John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 180 Centreway Road, Orewa on Friday 9 January 2026 at 12noon.

I have fond memories of Mr. Scott. He was always so jolly. I remember when he stayed at our house in Appleton, NY. He worked hard to fix my Dad´s truck. He also made the most delicious curry chicken, and was supportive of me as I worked on a paper for a college course. May God welcome home his good and faithful servant.
