Our sincere and deepest sympathy at your loss. Graig was indeed one of life's great leaders and personalities. We were enjoying getting to know him at Matarangi and will miss his smiling face as he headed for the surf on summer days. Farewell Craig. Thank you for all that you have done to put the "naki" you loved on the map. It was an honour to have met you the few times I did and be able to talk about the rugby and the dairy industry. Always approachable and ready to listen. My thoughts are with your family today

We will all miss that smile and that cheeky laugh, Craig was someone we grew up with and made a lasting impression on everyone he meet. He was like another brother.

It was so nice for us to catch up in Sydney last year when in typical Craig style, he helped me arrange a surprise visit to Mike when all the Hawera boys were in town for the Bledisloe.

He loved his family, was a fantastic friend to all his friends and especially Michael, Nat and Girls and awesome Godfather to Ashley. We will all miss him and this world is a much better place from having him.

Jane, Dylan, Jordan, Alexandria, Fay, Geoff and families, I am so sorry we can't be there with you today but will be thinking of you all and sending our love.

Kim, Destry, Michellie, Clay and Brodie Gourlay xxxx

Craig, I was so sad to hear of your passing but grateful for the time we had shared in days gone by. I learnt so much from you at Kiwi with one of the greatest lessons being to celebrate success. You also taught me to push the envelope and if it didn't go according to plan it was OK as long as I learnt from the experience. And of course I had to shout morning tea : ) I am writing this with a tear in my eye and am so grateful we met up at Twickenham last November and will remember being greeted by you with a big bear hug fondly for years to come. RIP Craig, the world and I are poorer for your passing. I am very sorry I cannot make your final farewell but will be sure to toast you in years to come as the ocassion arises.

To Jane and the Norgate family - my thoughts are with you at this very sad time. Be strong and cherish the many wonderful memories you have.

Dear Jane, Dylan, Jordan, Alexandria and family,

Our thoughts and prayers are with you all, at this sad time. Remember a life well lived, with some amazing achievements and over all, Craigs pride in his much loved family. When you feel sad, try to remember the many happy memories you have to look back on, which can never be taken away. Craig was a great raconteur and spoke fondly of his old friends, so Hawera will be welcoming home a true son.
RIP Craig, hope you enjoy a birds eye view of the Rugby World Cup.
Love and best wishes Stephen, Mary Anne, Charlotte and Abigail Laurent.

Jane, Geoff, Bridgid and all of your family.
I am so sorry I cannot join you tomorrow to celebrate Craig's life.
He was a unique, inspirational and special man who impacted in a significant manner all of those people he met and spent time with.
I admire and value the impact he made on this country and feel priviledged to have shared in a small part of that with him.
My thoughts are with you and all of the family tomorrow.

My memories of Craig are childhood, from St Joesph's to Hawera High first XV parties at his Mum and Dads place. Always had a sense of pride knowing our home town produced such a talented mind and spirited man. Thinking of the Norgate family at this time. Fiona Hillebrand (née Muschamp)

RIP Craig, We are thinking of your family at this sad time. When I heard of your passing, funny how the mind works, I immediately pictured you bouncing around the Basketball court as you did at Opunake High all those years ago.
