Cornelis VAN UDEN Obituary

VAN UDEN, Cornelis Theodorus (Kees). Born April 11th, 1929, died peacefully in Auckland on Sunday May 28th, 2023. Dearly loved husband of Margaret van Uden, father of Eddie, Sandrina, Stan, and Rachel. Cherished Opa of Marissa, Danielle, Jenna, Steven, Alisha and Scout, and great-Opa of Vienna. He will be missed by many. No service will be held.

Thank you, Kees, for that nice Dutch windmill you placed in Glen Eden, just up from where we lived. It was such a surprise and honor to meet the builder of it after so many years when we moved into Selwyn Village! Slaap in vrede.

Thinking of you all van Udens. I'm glad I got to know Kees a little bit in the castle that he built for you all. I loved hearing the stories of you all growing up there and I see his creative qualities flowing through you. Sending love at this sad time.
