DE Leeuw, Cornelis Johannes (Kees). On 23 February 2024 peacefully at Metlifecare Somervale, Mount Maunganui. Familie Jacqy and Willie Struik; and Willy Vermeulen. Did his gallant war service in regiment Stoottroepers 1944-1945 and was a Teacher. A Requiem Mass for Kees, will be held at St Thomas More Church, 17 Gloucester Road, Mount Maunganui, on Thursday 29 February 2024 at 11:00am. Very sad to hear of Kees's passing. I have wonderful memories of my younger days when Kees bordered with us in Glen Eden and was a High School teacher then. On my wedding day he sent me a telegram in Latin, luckily and interpreter was on hand. Now in Gods arms. Rest in Peace Kees. Don and Bev Rogers.
