Constance OWENS Obituary

OWENS, Constance Joy Joy died peacefully surrounded by family at Tauranga Hospital on Sunday 15 May 2016. Aged 91 years. Dearly loved mother of Robin, Denise and Graeme, Douglas, Wendy and Richard, and special friend of Eliza. Adored grandmother of Mahe and Juliette, Eloisa and Peter, Sophia, Peter; Samuel and Anita, Isaac and Joanne, Daniel and Tulsi, Rachel, David; Samara, Mohi, Tama, Waimarie, Hine; Timothy and Emily, Julia, Nicholas, Hannah, Rose and Katherine. Loved Gigi Joy of 18 great grandchildren. A funeral service for Joy will be held at the Bethlehem Baptist Church, Bethlehem Rd, Tauranga on Thursday 19 May at 1.00pm thereafter interment at the Pyes Pa Cemetery. I have known Constance Joy all my life; my dearest niece. Daughter of my older sister Theadora, Joy brought warmth, brightness and kindness to every shared occasion and personal moment. Now in my mid-nineties I am comforted by precious memories of times with Joy. My heartfelt sympathy to all Joy's family at this sad time. Love, Aunty Marie.(nee Sparwath)
