Colwyn HANSON Obituary

HANSON, Colwyn Andrew. Born 20 August 1936. Colwyn passed away on 22 October 2022 peacefully at Auckland Hospital surrounded by his much loved wife and family. Dearly loved soulmate and husband of Norrey. Much loved Father and Father-in-law of Anna, Kerrin and Tom, Lynda and Nick, Donna and Adam. Adored Grandfather of his 10 Grandchildren, James, Laura, Joseph, Izzy, Pascale, Casey, Amelie, Fynn, Jude, and Rocco. A service will be held at the North Harbour Chapel of Dil's Funeral Services, 185 Schnapper Rock Road, Albany on Saturday 29 October at 2.30pm. In Lieu of flowers donations to Dementia Auckland PO Box 5132, Victoria Street West, Auckland 1142 would be appreciated.

Dear Norrey
So sad to hear about Colwyn's passing. I had the pleasure of working with him for 5 years in Sensation Yachts where he taught me so much about boat building, He also taught me how to play badminton and golf during those days. One of life's true gentlemen who never stopped teaching everyone around him. Goodbye Colwyn. Will truly miss you
