Colleen LUKINS Obituary

Lukins, Colleen Mary (Nee Byrnes). Died peacefully on 13 February 2026, aged 90 years, after a long illness. Dearly loved wife of the late Owen. Much loved mother and mother-in-law of Sarah and Aaron, and loved stepmother of Jason and family. Treasured Nana of Claudia and Alice. Beloved sister and sister-in-law of the late Terence and Charlotte. Much loved Aunty of Dominic, Anthony, and Julia. Cherished matriarch of the Byrnes family and a loyal friend to many, especially Moira and Kate. Colleen will be fondly remembered for her elegance, gentle nature, quiet strength, her long and dedicated nursing career, and the lifelong friendships she cherished. A service to celebrate Colleen's life will be held at the All Saints Chapel, Purewa Cemetery, 100- 102 St John's Rd, Meadowbank at 12pm Thursday 19 February.
