How very sad to read of Colleen's passing. I met Colleen at Ellerslie Convent school when I was in the same class as her sister Ann. I was warmly welcomed into her parents home ( John & Colleen), while it was a very full and happy household I was made to feel part of their family, being a young girl from Scotland and struggling to settle, I spent many happy weekends in their home. My sadness also comes as I recall briefly catching up with Colleen in her home in Howick, spending several hours going over photos and videos. I promised to come back however for one reason or another that never happened, something I regret deeply. I would love the chance to catch up with any of the family even for a short time. Colleen and all your family thanks for the memories that our years together brings, one special day was on your Wedding day being a joint wedding with your sister Ann, watching you alight from the car with your Dad and brother ready to take you both inside the church just so beautiful to treasure. I live in Totara Heights, Manukau, not sure that I could make the journey to Mangawhai however your Life Celebration Party sounds awesome, just like the old days. May you rest in peace and love and go forward to those who have gone before you. Agnes O'Meara ( McVey) 027 7270677 or [email protected]
