Dear family-----We are sorrowful to learn of Penny's passing, and we recall the excellence of parents, Roswell and Lovelace, our close friends whom we respected and admired so much. The apple doesn't fall too far from the tree, beginning with family names. Lovelace, mother and daughter. "Mother" was a stellar performer in the PTA, was a true leader, combining action with deeds from Buena Vista, to Atlanta, to Washington, D. C. Our memories are fond ones and are important legacies left to us---of appreciation for lives well lived and well loved.

Sloan, Trey ... I was saddened to hear of your mother's death. She helped my family and me through some difficult years. I've met a few counselors since then, but none has been as warm and genuine as your mom. I often thought I would have liked to have her as a friend. I hope your sweet memories will soften the sorrow.
