Colin ORR Obituary

ORR, Colin John (CJ). Passed away suddenly at home on 19 January 2026, aged 77 years. Best friend and dearly loved fiancé of Verna. Father of Derek and Andrew, Granddad of Rochelle, Samantha, Melissa, Ella, Keisha, Cory, Sam and Emily and Great Granddad of Oscar, Alexis, Jack, Nixon and Alice. Beloved eldest son of the late Harold and Marjorie and brother of Philippa and the late Denise (Anne), Laurence and Robyn. A celebration of CJ's life will be held at the Te Kauwhata Rugby Club 10:30am Saturday 24 January, followed by interment at the Waerenga Cemetery. All communications to 43 Vineyard Road, RD2, Te Kauwhata 3782. CJ your love, kindness and generosity will be forever remembered.

condolences to verna and the family, CJ was one of the good characters, and will be missed, Ian and I were fortunate to visit it him recently, him fresh from hospital, but in very got heart, TK will miss CJ, he didn't approve of Kingi and my concrete laying abilities

I will always cherish the memories and the moments shared with Colin, with him building and myself painting his work. Never forgotten, and will always be remembered.
