So sorry to hear the sad news of Colin. I have many happy memories of him and Jill and the girls hosting us all at their beautiful place on the lake in Takapuna as teenagers. He was always so welcoming and a lot of fun as well as being a special Dad to all his girls. Having lost my beautiful Dad in January I know how painful a loss this is. Big hugs Jill, Jane, Liz, Mary Anne, Jenny and Cecily. You are all in our thoughts and prayers. x

To Jill and the rest of the family, our sincere condolences for the true loss to the racing industry of a great administrator when President of the Auckland Racing Club. Leading the Club through troubled times he had the support of many of us to make the right decision.
We enjoyed your company when celebrating wins and good discussion about prospects, but Colin loved the breeding and sport that prevailed. Long live the success of Waitak and long may it continue in memory of a man who loved the sport.
