COPESTAKE, Colin. (J-Force WWII) Colin passed away on 24th October 2024 in his 98th year. Dearly loved husband of the late Thelma (Trotter), dear Dad of Raewyn, Brian, and David. Much loved Gramp of Reuben, Justin, and Rose Morrison. Loved Great Grandpa of Millie, Naiah, Ella, and Eva. Dear long-time friend of Joan. Loved brother of Jean Wing. Colin lived his entire life in the Warkworth area. Special thanks to all family, friends, and carers involved with helping to keep Colin living independently for so long. A gathering to celebrate Colin's life will be held on Saturday 2nd November 2024 at 1.30pm in the Magnolia Room of besoul Funerals. A Tribute to Colin
Colin was the embodiment of wisdom and wit, with a mind as sharp as a tack. The best neighbour & friend who we enjoyed a hot cuppa with.

Known for his vast knowledge and incredible memory, Colin had the kind of understanding that could only come from a life well-lived. He was always ready to share a story, offer advice, or spark a thoughtful conversation.

Colin´s legacy is one of kindness, curiosity, and community. He leaves behind a lifetime of memories that will continue to inspire us. Warkworth has lost not only one of its oldest but one of its wisest souls. Rest easy, Colin. You will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
