Fond memories of growing up with Dad, and with Dad taking us fishing at every opportunity. Fishing from the wharfs and from the rocks, when we lived in Wellington, and then surfcasting, trout fishing, and whitebaiting in New Plymouth.
Also, fond memories of Dad's passion for vegetable gardening, and the well stocked gardens that Dad worked hard to grow. Remembering the times helping Dad with sewing seeds and harvesting the crops, for the garden fresh dinners that Mum cooked.
Many more good memories of a Dad that was always there for his family, and always keen to help others.
Dad was more relaxed recently, having settled into their new Ryman's Village home. My most recent memories were our regular visits, and us all playing board games and card games together.
Now very sadly missed. Rest in Peace Dad, with love from your son Greg.
