We very much appreciated our contact with Mr Campbell over the years as he donated his newspapers to the Kiwanis Club of Papatoetoe for their fundraising efforts. The papers were always presented in a very neatly stacked in banana boxes. During our visits we enjoyed many interesting conversations with him on a wide range of things from his early life, working days and current events. He always spoke warmly of his family. We also appreciated his generous gifts of macadamia nuts. It was a pleasure to know Colin Campbell. We will miss him and extend our sincere condolences to his family. Lee & John Bell

Our thoughts are with all the Campbell family with the loss of your beloved father and grandfather which will be the of an era for you. With a life so well lived you will have amazing memories.
My memory of Colin is when as a child I visited with my parents (my father“s cousin) and when they visited our farm in Southland.

Colin was a wonderful neighbour to Bob and Sandra Stretton for around 46 years. One of natures true gentlemen, Colin had a wonderful memory and was always helpful and interesting, he was a great story teller, especially when we shared a wee dram together.

Greetings
We the Prasad's have lost a dear friend, the best neighbor and a grandfather role model for my children. He was always giving us advice and was always ready to listen to what was going on in the children's lives.
We have known Colin for the last 14 years and have good memories but the best were, Receiving the first bloom from Ellen's memorial tree, having wine together, admiring our gardens, celebrating Diwali, and sometimes gossiping.
You have lived a good life and left with a smile. RIP dear friend
Colin, we will miss you dearly and you are irreplaceable
