BIEL, Colin Mark. Passed away due to chronic heart disease at home on 27 May 2025. Grandson of Charles Arthur Biel and Agnes May Biel (nee Kemp), Ateremu Te Hiini and Rangiaue Te Hiini (nee Wihapi). Son of Arthur Colin Biel and Aroha Grace Biel (nee Te Hiini). Brother of Carol, Mason (deceased) and George Atutahi, Rangi (deceased) and Mataturoa Puata, Tania and William Kenney, Helen, Christopher and Debbie Biel. Husband of Raiha Melanie (Lani) Biel (nee Dinsdale). Father of Maxine and Phillip Thorner, Sophie Biel, Te Uarangi and James Teepa, Patuara and Kasey Biel, Te Atatohea Biel, and Rāwiri Biel. Koro of Te Ngakauiti and Poia Hanuera, Te Kurairiwhare Biel-Mair, Puriti Biel, Pareawheawhe Biel, Hinetai Biel-Thorner, Te Matai Biel- Thorner, Sonny Boy Biel- Thorner, Waipuna-ā-rangi Biel-Thorner, Te Manohimohaoa Biel, Hakirewiti Rolleston, Rongohikairo Rolleston, Ngahaka Rolleston, Hineraumihi Biel-Hodges, Raiha Biel, Tutakangahau Teepa, Te Urutapu Teepa, Herea Teepa, Mahea Teepa, Kāwata Teepa, Sariah Tuanau, Te Kaharawa Roberts and Koaretaia Biel-Bird. Big Koro of Cephas, Wairere, Pare Te Houhi, Pakohe, Te Urekōpara and Te Atawhai. Our dad will lay in state at Moko Marae, Waitangi, Te Puke from Friday until his funeral service 2pm on Monday 2 June 2025.
