I just found out today about my mentor and friend over the last fifty years since I first met Clyth when he sold me my store in Paparoa over fifty years ago and become my mentor over those two years. We kept in touch over the years and when I was in NZ we always managed to catch up for a coffee and fill each other in on our life's journey. I recently touched base with Clyth and had no idea of his health situation. My condolences to his family and like it was once said to me,'To live in the hearts of those left behind we are neve far away'

So sad to hear the passing of my boss, my advisor, my mentor, my guru and my friend. He was always willing to share his knowledge and experience as a business broker. A founding member of the Business Brokers Division of REINZ and founder of Bizstats. Clyth will be sorely missed. Condolences to Trish

I am saddened to learn today of Clyth's passing. I didn't know him personally, only professionally. Clyth has helped me greatly over the last 4 years and his expert business advice and his recently filed affidavit continue to provide help to me. He was a good man. My sincere condolences, Lee Philo.

Saddened to read this obituary that Clyth has left us. I thought he was invincible. I am sure he did too. His positivity and leadership skills were shared with us all, back in the day when he and I increased his staff from two to twelve brokers in a very short time, to 18 when I left him in 1990 to go fishing and he continued to grow his thriving business. He will not be forgotten, many of us still thank him for his wise words at the right time. My thoughts are for his family. A life well lived, and he couldn't have done it without you Trish. Sincere condolences, Judy Stevens

Best thoughts for Trish, I was part of Clyths team from 1990 to 1995.
Lots of memories made and experiences shared.
I expect to see Clyth again one day, if there's any business in the next life I'll be disappointed if he hasn't got a sole agency on it.
Til later Clyth.....
