Sorry Peter, we were away in Aussie in August, so have only just now learned about Claudia's passing..best wishes to you. Bob & Sue Blakey.

Very sad to learn of Claudia's passing.
We much valued our times with her and Peter.
We always laughed about the coincidence of our names.

Claudia was a wonderfully elegant & intelligent lady.
Many of her Air New Zealand colleagues will remember Claudia as a delightful, cheerful, eminently capable and dedicated friend & work mate.

Claudia was my cousin,and many of the best memories of my childhood included her and her family. Our Mums were very close.

I particularly remember being 'encouraged' by Claudia to jump off the rocks at Clifton into the waves, she was a much better swimmer than me; later eating sticky sweet things brought on the way home; and standing in the kitchen with saucers ready to sample the gravy for enough salt! Great excuse!

Later as both of us married (Claudia was my bridesmaid) and we had children, and with us living overseas, we only saw each other on visits. Claudia was always very hospitable, generous and helpful.

She was a very supportive and loving Mum to Katie and John, and was very proud and supportive of Peter and his career.

A life well lived.

I have very happy memories of Claudia when working at Med Lab many years ago. Also I followed her into her position at a Harley Street laboratory in London where she was referred to most fondly. She was so much fun. Deepest sympathy to all the family.

Dear Peter, Kate and Johnny,
I have toyed with what to say to you... so very, very, difficult...
Life, is a battlefield littered with many unexpected events, but the loss of a parent is the ultimate. My children lost their father early. I understand.
Claudia, to me, exemplified everything a wife, mother and friend should be. She talked of you all often when we met, with joy and passion. She will be remembered with love, respect, kindness, devotion to her family. I too, will feel her passing keenly.
