Claud WINTLE Obituary

WINTLE, Claud James (Jim) QSM JP. Unexpectedly at home on Sunday 16 February 2025. Aged 82 years. Much loved husband of Lynda for 47 years. Loved father of Mark and Andrew and loved father-in- law of Maree and Megan. Poppa to Oliver. Cherished brother of Joy, Colin, Sheryl and the late John. Active and respected member of the Mangawhai Community who was involved in many projects over the years. A celebration of Jim's life will be held at Mangawhai Recreation Centre, 34 Insley Street, Mangawhai, on Thursday, 27th February at 11:00 AM, followed by interment at Mangawhai Cemetery, Tara Road, Mangawhai. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Mangawhai Daring Trust in memory of Jim. A livestream of the funeral will be available at www.jasonmorrison.co.nz/ s/jim

Jim was such an amazing hard working community man. Mangawhai has so much to be grateful for all the wonderful and numerous projects Jim was involved with over many years.
He will be so sadly missed by the community but perhaps more importantly from your family and the Wintle whanau.
