I was one of Nan and Clary's bridesmaids when i was about 12 years old, and was so sorry to hear of Clary's passing. Sincere Sympathies to his family. My parents Reg and Nancy Taylor were lifelong friends, although both have died now.

To our dear cousins John, Nancy and Helen
I am so glad that I could meet Auntie Nan again and Uncle Clarry for the first time seven years ago on my visit to NZ. Uncle Clarry was so welcoming and proud to show us around and we had a lovely meal with Auntie Nan too at home.
With love and prayers for peace for you all

We go back over 60 years with Clarry and Nan. They were introduced to each other when Clarry was in England living with my family. I was bridesmaid at age 8 along with Jenny nee Taylor.
I have so many fond memories of them from my childhood and it was always my dream to go to New Zealand to see them... so on our 25th wedding Anniversary my husband booked us a flight to see them.. I was so excited and we spent 3 weeks with them.. and it was lovely to meet up with Helen and Robyn. Thank you for the wonderful memories and love.

My connection to Clarry Wren goes back to long before I was born, actually 68 years ago, when he met my father on a boat going to England. Clarry witnessed to my Dad about Jesus, and challenged him to commit his life and future to God, an introduction that changed my father's life forever. As I have been living overseas for many years, I only met Clarry by telephone in 2017. He told me stories of his friendship with my Dad, and his own activities since returning to NZ. We spoke at length over the past few years and I had hoped to visit him this December, but sadly, will have to wait to heaven to have that joyful reunion.
Clarry, I will miss you, my friend. Thank you for your brave and consistent love & prayers for your family, and others, particularly for those who needed to hear the good news of Jesus, and those whom you supported to carry that news to others. See you when i get there. Jamie
