Choate, Clarence R. August 27, 2011; Age 96 of Allen Park. Beloved husband of the late Margaret (married 69 years). Loving father of James (Mary) Choate, and the late Barbara (Frank) Yockey and the late Robert (Belinda) Choate; dear grandfather of Carol Ann (Scott) Jeffrey, James (Andrea) Choate, John Yockey, Robert (Shannon) Yockey, Mary (Edward) Rust, and Olivia Choate; dear great grandfather of Kathleen, Emily, Steven, Katelyn, Hannah, and Logan. Mr. Choate was a proud World War II Army Veteran. Retired from Chrysler Jefferson Assembly Security in 1975 after 34 years of service. Also was a founding member of St. Cyril's of Jerusalem Church in Taylor, MI. Visitation Wednesday August 31, 2011from 4-8 p.m. at the Allen Park Chapel of Voran Funeral Home, 5900 Allen Rd. (313) 928-2300. Funeral mass 10:00 a.m. Thursday September 1, 2011 at Sacred Heart Parish in Hudson, MI. Interment Calvary Cemetery (Hudson, MI).
