Claire DARLEY Obituary

To Claire´s Family - Have only just learned of Claire´s passing as I tried to deliver her annual Christmas card. She kindly organised the Channing Crescent street bbq´s on her and Terry´s front lawn for a number years giving us all an opportunity to meet and greet early in February. She had a kind and friendly manner and we enjoyed a few good chats and laughs over the years.

When Claire passed I lost my best friend who I had laughed the enjoyed for 70 years. She was a great mate and we shared so many fun times. My sympathy to all the wider family. Robin Matheson

DARLEY, Claire Lenore (nee Axtens). It is with much sorrow we remember Claire who passed away after a short illness on 28 October 2025, aged 87 years. A wonderful caring and loving friend to all and much loved by the Axtens family. Dearly loved sister and sister- in-law to John (deceased) and Helen Axtens, Geoff and Wendy Axtens and Betty and Tony File. A dear Aunt loved by nieces and nephews Fleur and Michael van Brecht, Martin and Kim Axtens, Philip Axtens, Penny Axtens.

Darley, Claire Lenore. A much loved sister passed away peacefully 28th October 2025. Claire was not only a sister, she was a best friend. With much love and no more phone calls from Betty and Tony, Jason and Catherine, the late Michael and Samara and all the Grandchildren.
