WHITLEY, Christopher John (Chris). 6 February 1940 - 26 February 2024 'Coach Extraordinaire' It is with great sorrow we advise the unexpected, but peaceful passing, with his daughter by his side and his adored wife close by. Respected mentor, esteemed friend and highly valued member of the NZ Cycling fraternity. As per family wishes Chris was cremated privately in Whangarei, with a memorial to honour his life to follow in Auckland at a luncheon on Wednesday March 20th.
