Christopher Payne Obituary

PAYNE, Christopher Wren. Passed away peacefully surrounded by his family's love at Totara Hospice on February 21, 2012. Darling husband of Val, treasured Dad of Carl and Maureen, Lloyd and Dana. Adored Grandad Chris of Danielle, Jordan, Braxton and Chloe, brother of John, uncle of David, Jennifer, Paul and Leigh, and much respected by the extended Payne family. A funeral service will be held at the Mangere Methodist Church, cnr Bader Drive and Elmdon Street, Mangere, at 1pm on Friday, 24 February, 2012, followed by private cremation. Flowers are welcome or donations may be made to Totara Hospice, PO Box 75560, Manurewa, or Cancer Society of NZ, PO Box 1724, Auckland. Communications to:

Dear Val and family
Noel told me,sometime early March, of the passing of Chris. My thoughts are with you at this sad time. I remember the times when we would watch the games up the mountain and have the occasional drink in the club rooms together. It is these happy times we remember.
