Hey there "Billy The Kidd",

It is still hard to believe that you are gone from this life. I sit here day after day thinking about the time we spent together. Man we sure had some good times. There are alot of unique memories ranging anywhere between Michigan and Mississippi. I have great memories of doing trees with you. I sure learned alot from you in the five years I worked with you. You always took pride in cutting trees. It didn't matter if it was sunny and hot or if there was snow up past our knees we were out working. Lol! Even the morning of our wedding day you found time to bust out a tree job in Centerville across the street from the court house. Lol!

There are so many more memories just not enough room to put them all. :-)

Chris I can't even begin to describe to you how much you are missed by so many people. One thing that is for sure is that you will always be alive in our hearts.

There wasn't anything Chris wouldn't do for me and his enthusiasm was so contagious and will be missed by everyone. Whenever he called me Sunshine, he made me feel like I was the only Sunshine in the world and I still prefer to believe it that way. His love for Jo was precious and I respected and admired him for that. At first I was mad at him for dying but I realize that everyong has their own agenda in this Universe and it was his time to move on and spread his joy elsewhere. I will miss him with all my heart and there won't be a day that goes by that I won't think of him, especially when I see someone up in a tree. He was never unkind, always a gentleman and everyone's best friend. I love you Chris very very much and I'm so glad I had a chance to know you and have you in my life for the time I did. Jo, Glen, and Pug, my heart goes out to you and I will do everything I can to help Jo through this tough time. my love always, Becky Nichols

Glenn and Pug, I hope you are doing OK. When I wrote in the guest book the first time,I had a different email address. Sorry if you tried to contact me and couldn't. If you would like to email me,the new address is here.
I was trying to remember when I saw you after Chris was born, I think it was at the grocery store. John and I were at a store in Pontiac and you came in with Chris lying in the small compartment of the grocery cart. That was a long, long time ago.
Take care, you are in my prayers.

I remember when Chris first showed up here in Kansas City. Jo and Sean dropped by with Chris and he expressed how eager he was to do tree work as he looked at the trees in the backyard. Little did I know, years later how much tree work and vehicle work he would be doing for me in exchange for a place for him and Jo to live during some tough times. They stayed in my home almost a year...the video of him in the tree took place in my backyard. I last visited with Chris and Jo a few days after Christmas since I had a few gifts I wanted to give to them. I'm glad I got the chance to talk with him that last time ... because he was a friend of mine.
Glenn, Pugg, Linda, other family members, Jo....you all have my deepest heartfelt sympathy...It is so hard to believe he is gone even now. I'll just have to dedicate that song by Willie Nelson, "He was a friend of mine" to the memory of my friend Chris who had the greatest of manners when he spoke in times when manners were necessary or he wanted to be respectful...He was a good man

I vividly remember the day I became your Aunt.
That was the best memory of the first part of my life. From that day forward you held a special place in my heart and in my arms.
My life seems a little smaller without you in it. I'll miss your phone calls and our long chats we always had. You were truly one of the Greatest Blessings in my life.
I'll love you forever.
I miss you so very much,

Dear Friends & Family,
Chris was a man that would play games with me. The games he mostly played with me were video games. I did get why he played video games with me but some people did not get it. So today (Saturday, 31, 2009) we are here to celebrate the way Chris would want all of us to do just for him. We should remember that Chris isi in a good place called Heaven. Right now he is watching us. Right now he is thinking about how nice all the family and friends to come to this party. Chris was, and still is a great person of all to teach me and most of you people something new. Thank you for listening to my speech. Sincerely, Brandon (14)
