Christopher FITZGERALD Obituary

Uncle Con was very much part of our family, he was there when I was born and through all life´s most precious moments. My father and mother adored him and he them.
He was kind and generous, witty and wise. A great story teller who loved his family, Limerick and his Irish heritage. He had the remarkable ability to listen and remember everything you said making you feel special.
I will always appreciate his kindness, wisdom and love. He will be present in my thoughts and cherished in my memories

Uncle Con, you were always so generous, quietly helping others without ever wanting a fuss. We have such fond memories of the fun times at the Kenmore Place swimming pool and the joy of your visits. As the years went on, it was our turn to visit you - and we loved every moment. After Irish dance competitions, we´d pop in, and the kids loved performing for you. There was always plenty to talk about, from Donald Trump to Pope Francis - and everything in between. Your kindness, your humour, and those special times will always stay with us. His Name I called him was uncle con but my uncle Paul said a very nice speech, the thunder was very loud! we also had some singing afteralong with a yummy lunch and burial at pyes pa cemetery, I might have not been the most known because Im a part of the Tustin family and he was my great uncle but he was a nice kind and gentle man.

We will miss you Con, both at Pakuranga Park Village and St Marks Church. We loved your cheeky sense of humour and admired your strong Christian faith. May you rest in peace dear old friend.

I have such fond memories of Uncle Con. From the walks around lake Moananui in Tokoroa all those years ago, to the whit, humour and laughter you shared with us on many an occasion and even up to your last days with us. I will miss your passion for Donald Trump & Elon Musk in the later years - never seen anything quite like it in NZ.
Your generosity and love towards the Fitzgerald family in NZ knew no bounds.
