Christopher COOPER Obituary

COOPER, Christopher Neville (Neville). Suddenly on 18th July 2025 after a short illness, proudly aged 90! Much loved husband of the late Janice (formerly Dunning, nee Watts). Father of Daniel and Jeremy, step-father of Sarah, Anne and Mary. (Dunning). And their families. Former husband of Margaret Wallingford. With special thanks to all those involved in Dad's care, and to Elizabeth for her care and kindness in his last hours. At Neville's wishes, a memorial service will be held at St Chads Church, 117 Centreway Road, Orewa at 1pm on Tuesday 22nd July. Earlier today

I remember Neville as a fellow student at N Z Friends School in Whanganui 1947-48. Then again as an engineer(?) in Thames at the council about 1972 (if I am correct.)
We had lunch together about 5 years ago but no contact since.

Neville and I attended St John's College together and later we ministered at St Paul's Symonds St. Neville was a caring, thoughtful priest, always co-operative. and quite superb when needed for an extended period of ministry at St Paul's. May he rest in peace and rise in glory.
