Dear Family of Chris Bowman,

I am very sorry to hear of the tragedy of Chris's death

I worked with Chris at Foodtown Birkenhead once I left high school in about 1993
He was an amazing guy, straight talker and very quick witted. He suffered no fools. We loved his company and he always had great advice, we learnt alot from him
He was a really genuine fantastic guy who went out of his way to help others, and I will cherish the laughs and the parties at his house in my late teens, early twenties.
Chris was a really respected guy who was an amazing friend and workmate in the butchery trade.

Deepest condolences to his family. RIP Chris.

Although I was not there in person to bid you farewell, I was there in spirit with live stream. What a beautiful send off to such a great man. You will be sorely missed . I will forever treasure the memory of my last game against you when I took a frame leaving you with five balls still on the table. To commend me the way that you did is something I won't forget, nor will I forget the advise you gave me to improve my game. Rest easy now, sincere condolences to all. With love Nicki Cruickshank
