Herzog, Christine. Loved daughter, sister and aunty. And a much-loved friend and mentor to many. A tireless advocate for social justice and Te Tiriti o Waitangi. A service to celebrate Christine's life will be held at 11am on Tuesday 2 September 2025 at the Manukau Memorial Gardens Chapel, 361 Puhinui Road, Wiri, Manukau. In lieu of bought flowers, bring a small piece of greenery or a flower from your own garden to place on Christine. A special thanks to Mercy Hospice for their exceptional care and attention to Christine.

My heart is heavy to hear you have left this earth. I want to thank you for taking me under your wing while at Te Tai Awa o te Ora, and giving me the opportunities to grow. You were such an amazing advocate for our vulnerable Whanau and tamariki, and always had Maori interests at the forefront of your Mahi. I will never forget the opportunities you gave me, the potential you saw in me and that it was you who brought me my first car.
