Kia ora Christine's whanau Your mother and I were good friends back at Dio in the 50s. I was a good girl and she led me astray, No seriously we had a lot of fun....painting each other's faces in an art exam while the supervisor dozed off, queueing up over night in Queen Street to be first to buy ballet tickets and for some reason lost in the mists of time painting the sewing room a bilious green. She was a talented force of nature and a loyal friend. My aroha to you all

to Gary, Grant, Kent and Mark
I have just heard the sad news of Christine's passing - and want to send condolences to you all. I am sorry to have missed today's memorial gathering, but am sending thoughts from Wellington. Christine was certainly a woman who made her mark -- no-one else has produced anything like her groundbreaking film, A Word in the Hand. Christine was a dear friend since our early dancing days in Auckland, and we had many adventures and good times. May she rest in peace, and may you treasure all the good memories. Kia kaha, tatou katoa.

You were such a light in my life, Christine. I always left your place feeling like I could take on the world, planning my next adventure. I´ll miss our `gurl dinners´ of wine and cheese, talking about art and ballet and boys. I loved listening to your stories about your time in Europe when you were young. Miss you so much. Bridgie xoxo
