Christine DUNN Obituary

DUNN, Christine (Chris) QSM. I am extremely sad to announce the peaceful passing of my darling Mum on 6th January 2026, three months short of her 100th birthday at HBH Howick Views rest home, her home for the past eight months. Mum had a amazing full life and lived it in fine health. She was a beautiful, kind and generous soul, loved by all who knew her. Mum to Sue and son in law Cliff, extraordinary Grandma to Claire (USA), Selena (UK) and Great granny to Mack. Wife of the late Bert. Extra special sister to Patricia. A badminton player into her mid 90's and life member of Orewa Dog Obedience Club with a QSM for services to dogs. Ex Wrens and NZ Airforce. Many thanks to the caring staff at HBH Views. A celebration of Mum's life will be held at a later date to be advised. A Private cremation will take place. All communications to Howick Funeral Home, 35 Wellington Street, Howick 2014.
