Dear Greg, Anne, Gerard, David, Morri and Mary, Ted and myself send you our very deepest sympathy in the loss of your dear sister,Christine. Christine aways spoke of you all with greatest affection, her New Zealand family who meant so much to her.
We have been close friends with Chris and Christine for over 40 years. A friendship built on trust and love, and enjoyed so many fun times together.
During Christine's last few weeks, she so appreciated the support from all of you, as she battled with her illness. So brave and calm, and with Katie's strong and loving support, able to pass peacefully.
Christine will be missed very much. May she rest in peace.

My deepest condolences to the families of Christine and Christopher both here in Canada and New Zealand. I met Chris at a meeting of Probus where we both met Rose and Margie. We spent many happy times together chatting, sipping wine, nibbling on cheese and goodies before we played a game. Lots of discussions and laughter as the game progressed. Wonderful happy memories that I shall always treasure. Our time together was far too short.
With love, Nadine

I was fortunate to be both a neighbour & family friend to Christopher & Christine Barnett for over 30 years. My family and I loved them both dearly. We went to each other's birthdays, baptisms and weddings. Now, due to the wretched Covid-19, we cannot comfort Katie as well Christopher's older children, Susan & Mike, at their parents' funerals due to this virus. That we lost them both in less than a year to cancer is so painful to those who loved them. I shall miss you both always. My condolences to Katie & all of the family.
