WALLACE, Christina (Chris). Passed away unexpectedly, peacefully, in her home in Taupo. 6 January 1946 - 14 September 2025. Much loved Mum to Amanda, Sam, Christie. Mother in law to Sam, Sarah, Marcus. Adored Grandmother (Kitty) to Jack, Frankie, Tabby, Greer, Oscar, Rupert, Seb. A celebration of Chris's life will be held at The Hilton, 80-100 Napier Road, Taupo. Monday 22 September, at 2.00pm. I have just heard of Christina´s death and quite frankly am still in shock. I was talking to her about a fortnight ago and she sounded so well . Unfortunately Margaret is recovering from a hip operation but we were planning a Taupo trip as soon as practicable but unfortunately she beat us to it.
She obviously went very quickly which is at least a positive point.
I cannot say much more now as I think over my memories of times at Tunaeke, Ohura, and Acacia Bay.
