This is such a terrible loss for you all - such a strong, clever, fun loving, courageous family-centred woman. I have so many great memories of the times since she became involved in Parents Centre back in 2002 and am grateful for all she has contributed and for her friendship and support. As a Fantail leads an Angel

As the Fantail led the Angel from this Earth to the realms of Heaven above

He guided her with care and he spoke to her with love

As he knew the new found Angel felt confused, she didn't want to leave just yet

She had so much here to live for, many loved ones & friends she felt she'd not yet met

But as they flitted through the skies on their travels, on that day

He tried to explain to her the reasons, why everything has happened all this way

You see some Angels are only lent to us, they're sent to Earth from the Heavens up above

They walk here among us on this Earth & they teach us how to love

They touch so many lives on their travels & their journeys through this plain

They make our hearts fill with joy & we'll never be the same

They inspire & amaze us with all that they say & with what they do

The Fantail tried to explain , he said one of those Angels now is you

He told her she s taught so many, in her short time here on Earth with us

That she didn't have to worry, her love lives forever, in that she could always trust

The Angel looked up to the Fantail with those beautiful blue eyes that shone so bright

A small tear fell from one & it dropped right out of sight

The Angel knew she had so many that loved her to the Moon & back

She didn't have to worry, she could rest now, her life's path had come to the end of its track

But that doesn't mean the end, a small wee part of her soul lives on in each of us every day

We must take it, treasure it and nurture it, that's how with us she'll always stay

Now when you see a Fantail flitting through the skies, stand still, look carefully
& you might see an Angel by his side

Now when it rains stand outside a little longer, close your eyes & feel the raindrops - Angels tears - down your cheeks glide

For our Angel hasn't left us, she watches from the stars above

She'll always live forever in our hearts & she will forever carry our love
