I remember Uncle Charlie from visits he made when in Dunedin over my childhood years. It was always good to see him. I last saw him when he and Marjorie visited Dad (Gary) and Lorraine a few years ago. Time hadn´t changed the gentleman I remember from childhood, and it was a lovely afternoon catching up.
Thinking of you all in the passing of your Dad.

I am so sorry to hear of Charles passing. I was very grateful that Charles kept in touch with Mum after Dad (John Allan) passed away in 2022. I think to our family and Mum it seemed have if Charles was ageless and would live forever.
No doubt his passing will leave a huge gap in your family. Please accept condolences from the Te Puke Allan family - Gwenda, Suzanne, Bruce, Nigel and Graham.

Charlie was best man at my wedding and we married the Howarth sisters in 1959 and 1961.
We kept in touch all the years since and last spoke on the phone after Marge passed away last October. Rest in peace my friend.
