READ, Charles Aaron. Passed 30th September 2018 at Tauranga Hospital aged 82. Engineer and school teacher. Precious husband of Betty for 60 years. Fantastic father of Stuart and Ian (deceased). Loved by all. Service will be at the Pyes Pa Memorial Park Chapel, 403 Pyes Pa Road, Tauranga on Saturday, 6th October at 1pm. In lieu of flowers, please support St John Ambulance.

Our thoughts are with you at this very sad time Chas was such a wonderful kind and caring man, we have such lovely memories of the time we spent with him, the two of them sharing the stories of their youth and the laughs they had, You were such an inspiration to everyone Chas and we will miss you. My condolences to the family. I remember all the lovely cards Uncle Charlie use to send to the family growing up. I still have the hair band he sent me. I can remember listening to my nan (Charlie's younger sister) talk fondly of Charlie. I hope you're resting peacefully.All our love from England Kristi-anna, Anita, Tavis and Cian (Powell)
