Very sorry to learn of Charlie's passing. Was very lucky to have Charlie coaching me when starting to play bowls at a competitive level. I can still hear him telling me to stay low with my head over the bowl before delivery, and not to get into an upright position until the bowl was well on the way up the green; and to watch it until it stopped. Also enjoyed a wee dram after a day's play. He will be missed but never forgotten.Rest in Peace Charles
