Dear Mary & Tommy;
I just found you while looking up email addresses and am so sorry for your loss. Charlie was a wonderful, kind, thoughtful, and caring human being. I am very sad I did not try harder sooner to contact you all because Charlie"s friendship meant very much to me and I thought about you and him with the fondest of memories. He will be missed greatly!

Dear Mary and Tommy,
Very, very sad to hear Charlie's back to God's place. We did have a good time every time we talked and laughed.
May God bless his soul. Take care.

Dearest Charlie,
We do miss you, Charlie, always. We have been friends for more than 20 years since we landed in this Country. We became close relatives as Charles is the Godfather of my son, Jeff. We spent together each and every Chinese customary occasion, celebrating at dinner tables. You taught me Tai Chi. We do miss you, Charlie.
May God bless you and your Marietta and Tommy in this time of sorrow. Our condolence is far from sufficient to express how deeply we feel.

Dear Marrietta & Tommy,
I am deeply saddened by the death of Charles. It is difficult for me and it must be much worse for you.
Charles was very close to my family when we were growing up in Hong Kong, and I have many fond memories of the things we did together. Like sharing a seat at the movie theatres so that we could save 70 cents to buy junk food; like partying at his home with drinks provided by his father, the late Mr. Ng Yuen. And so much more.
I know that there is little I can say to console you, but please know that my thoughts are with you and your family.
In deepest sympathy,
Herbert Yung Man Li
